FPS - Pisana Foundation for Science

The FPS research center - Pisana Foundation for Science - was promoted by the Dopo di Noi a Pisa Onlus Foundation, which commissioned Studio Carani e Pieroni with the design, construction management, safety coordination and fire safety of the entire complex.

La Vela - Montacchiello

It is a building, designed entirely by Studio Carani e Pieroni, which has a mainly office use with the identification of commercial activities on the ground floor and offices and studios also open to the public.

Polo Fabio Perini Spa

The industrial building located in Pisa in the Montacchiello area was born, on the impetus of a large entrepreneur in the paper sector, with the intention of creating a pilot paper mill with advanced technology that could be replicated in various parts of the world. The shed, which has a covered area of approximately 11,000 mq, is equipped with a provision for high-capacity bridge cranes and has been designed in such a way as to guarantee the presence of goods loading and unloading areas with loading bays.

Tower Plaza Hotel *****

Studio Carani e Pieroni, together with another studio in Pisa, oversaw the architectural and structural design and construction supervision of the building complex built in Pisa, along the Via Aurelia near the access road to the San Rossore Park.
The complex consists of three distinct bodies: one for rehabilitation activities with an adjoining swimming pool, one intended for specialist residences and the last, located in the main body, with an excellent accommodation destination.

The splendid position, with a view of the Duomo and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, required an accurate and in-depth study to facilitate the insertion of such an important volume through dialogue with the surrounding environment.
